Severe Storms Head for Kansas and Western Missouri

A cold front will cause thunderstorms to develop in Kansas and western Missouri today. As this cold front advances across the southern Plains, thunderstorms will develop, bringing torrential downpours and strong winds. Flash flooding, damaging winds, and hail will be the primary threat, however, tornadoes possible.
