Potential Tropical Cyclone 10 moving near Carolinas

Potential tropical cyclone ten could become a tropical storm today. The system is currently located off the northern coast of South Carolina and forecast to move northeastward today along the coast of North Carolina, before moving out into the open Atlantic. Heavy rainfall is expected along the northern Outer Banks to the Delmarva Peninsula, with 2 to 4 inches possible today. A tropical storm watch is in effect along the coast of southern North Carolina, with a tropical storm warning along the central and northern coast of North Carolina.
