Thunderstorms forecast for Midwest

Severe thunderstorms are forecast to affect parts of the Midwest today. Hail, damaging wind gusts and flash flooding are all possible, along with a tornado or two. The storms are expected to start in the afternoon and last into the evening hours. The area expected to see storms is from southern Illinois into southeastern Michigan and northern Ohio.

Consider securing outdoor items as well as parking your vehicle under an enclosure. Be vigilant in checking for tornado warnings.
