Severe weather for Central U.S. this week

As thunderstorms move across the central U.S. this week, large hail is the primary threat, and significant hail of two inches in diameter or more could occur. Tornadoes are a possibility, and conditions may produce strong EF2+ tornadoes. Damaging straight-line wind gusts are also possible. As the system moves east, the threat area will shift from the Southern Plains into the Central and Lower Mississippi Valley and Ohio Valley.
