Severe storms forecast for Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast

Severe thunderstorms are expected through Wednesday for portions of the eastern half of the country. The largest threats are damaging wind gusts that could exceed 74 mph, large hail greater than 2 inches in diameter, and possibly a few EF2+ tornadoes.
