Severe storm threat moves to Mississippi Valley

Scattered severe storms are expected to affect the Mississippi Valley region from St. Louis to New Orleans through this evening. Flash flooding, islolated tornadoes, high winds and hail are possible impacts. If possible, vehicles in this region should be moved to shelter to protect against hail.
