Many areas of the Plains from Texas to parts of South Dakota could pick up at least 3 inches of total rainfall through Tuesday night. Parts of western Nebraska and western Kansas could see 5-8 inches of total rainfall. A good portion of eastern Texas including Dallas, Austin and Houston could see 3 to 5 inches. Super cell thunderstorms capable of bringing strong winds, isolated tornadoes and hail are potential impacts from Lubbock, TX to North Platte, NE.
