More snow for the Mid-Atlantic, heaviest to fall in the Appalachian mountains

A storm moving in from the Midwest is predicted to bring a new round of snow to the Mid-Atlantic through Tuesday night. Intermittent snow is forecast for the Northeast on Wednesday and Thursday. The heaviest snow is set to fall in the Appalachian mountains with 6-12 inches anticipated. In other areas around the Mid-Atlantic, spotty snow is expected with the possibility of accumulations up to 6 inches.
