Wintry mix forecast for Northeast

A wintry mix is predicted to affect the Northeast starting Tuesday and lasting through Thursday. At times, it will be cold enough in certain areas to allow for snow, freezing rain and sleet. Heavy rain and strong winds are forecast as well.
