Severe thunderstorms continue on to Atlantic Coast states

The severe storms that affected the South yesterday are heading north to Washington D.C. Multiple tornado watches and warnings are under effect. For some, these storms may hit when children are getting out of school. Increased awareness to weather alerts are extremely important through the remainder of the day.
