Heavy rain and strong winds are predicted to impact Florida through Thursday. Cities such as Orlando, Miami and Tampa may receive over an inch of rain, with some areas receiving as much as 3 inches of rain. As a result, the risk of flooding is possible.
Thunderstorms may also spark severe weather in some areas in addition to isolated tornadoes; however, these are not predicted to be a widespread threat. Sporadic power outages and property damage will be possible as the strong storms move through.
