Winter Storm Goliath is predicted to continue to spread a wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain through the Northeast into Tuesday night, with some light additional accumulations in the Midwest.
Where the storm remains all snow in northern New England, snowfall totals in excess of a foot are possible. Slick travel conditions, flight delays and cancellations are likely.
Winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories are in effect for several states in the Northeast, from northern Pennsylvania to Maine. By Tuesday night, all of the wintry weather associated with Goliath should exit the U.S., putting an end to this storm which began late last week.
