After a round of storms, and possible tornadoes, left damage in at least two small towns near San Antonio, Texas, on Friday morning, the threat of severe thunderstorms continues in the Gulf and Southern Plains.
The next weather system will bring thunderstorms with locally heavy rain and severe thunderstorms to central Texas today, and will contiue east overnight across east-central Texas, Louisiana, and southwest Missouri on Saturday.
Areas of slow-moving, heavy rain may trigger flash flooding in recently rain-soaked areas including San Antonio, Austin, Dallas and Houston.
